Russell Real Estate Services Offices Collect 6,753 Items during the 3rd Annual Newman Title Agency Food Drive
Media, PA (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Title Alliance, a RESPA-compliant ESOP leader in joint venture title insurance for the residential real estate industry, is proud to announce that Russell Real Estate Services collected 6,753 non-perishable items during the third annual food drive sponsored by their affiliate, Newman Title Agency. The two companies are partnered together as a joint venture through Title Alliance.
The team at Newman Title Agency encouraged the eight offices of Russell Real Estate Services to bring in as many non-perishable food items as possible to donate to the local charity of each of the office’s choices. What resulted from the contest, which ran from October 24 through November 14, was an overwhelming support for their local communities.
“We believe more people should give back to the community; and what better way to promote it than by example through our own agents,” said Mary Blancett, Manager of Newman Title. “It is great to see the participation from the Russell offices increase every year. The spirit of giving is such an amazing thing!”
On November 17, Blancett visited the offices and hand counted their donations. All eight offices participated and the top three offices were as followed:
The winning office, located in Brecksville, Ohio, with 73 agents collected 3,200 items or 43.8 items on average per agent.
The second place office, located in Medina, Ohio, with 58 agents collected 1089 items or 18.8 items on average per agent.
The third place office, located in Strongsville, Ohio, with 113 agents collected 1339 items or 11.8 items on average per agent.
In the spirit of competition, Blancett rewarded the top three offices with catered parties to celebrate their generosity. She believes the act of helping those in need should be made known to encourage others in the community to follow suit. James Hiles, Manager of Russell Real Estate Serivces’ Brecksville office, the winning office in the competition, agrees.
“There are many people that need help in our local communities, not just in the city, but also in the suburbs,” said Hiles. “Sometimes [people] need a lot and sometimes they just need help with a couple extra meals here and there. As we look back we all have so much to be thankful for and we should be a blessing to others as well. I urge everyone to give a little of yourselves now and throughout the year, your communities need you. Helping others is the greatest reward.”
