SAE International Supports Green Mobility Event
Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- SAE International is one of the featured participants in a half-day “Future Trends in Green Mobility” event conducted by the Michigan Academy for Green Mobility Alliance (MAGMA) on Friday, November 8, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Macomb Community College in Warren, MI. Any automotive engineer or technical professional working in a green mobility role is invited to attend and admission is free.
SAE International’s Global Manager of Professional Development, Kevin Perry, will discuss SAE’s new Vehicle Electrification Certification program as part of a panel that will review green mobility education, training, and credentialing opportunities. Other panelists will represent programs through Macomb Community College’s Center for Advanced Automotive Technology, Michigan Technological University, and Wayne State University.
MAGMA’s program will also feature presentations and panel discussions centered on green mobility trends including light weighting; the latest vehicle strategies from Chrysler Group, Ford Motor Company and General Motors; and new frontiers such as natural gas. Several demonstration vehicles will be available for review at the conclusion of the program.
