Safe Auto Insurance Seeks Musicians in Norfolk for Annual "Do the Jingle Contest"
Norfolk, Virginia: (PRWEB) August 10, 2013 -- SafeAuto Insurance, a state minimum auto insurance company based out of Columbus, Ohio, will be holding auditions for its annual “Do the Jingle” contest. Norfolk, Virginia will be the first stop for the SafeAuto team, who will be visiting six different cities in search of this year’s most entertaining musician or performer. The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000.00 plus a role in a SafeAuto television commercial.
With the popularity of SafeAuto’s well known jingle, the contest has been a great success in the past. Last year’s competition generated over 3 million online votes in addition to media publicity throughout the country. The “Do the Jingle” contest allows entrants to create their own rendition of the jingle, which SafeAuto will film and post on the company’s Do The Jingle website. Last year’s contest brought many entries. Ayanna Lewis and her catchy jingle received the most votes and was awarded the winner, which resulted in a commercial spot seen throughout the country. This year’s winning contestant will also be awarded $5,000.00 and a role in a SafeAuto commercial.
Auditions will be held in Norfolk, Virginia on August 17th-18th, 2013.
