Safety Pool Cover Manufacturer, LOOP-LOC, Shares Three Creative Valentine's Crafts for Kids

Safety pool cover manufacturer that services New Jersey, LOOP-LOC, shares three creative Valentine's crafts for kids.

Cardboard heart stamps. For this craft, all you need is an empty toilet paper roll, red and pink paint, and some blank cards. Flatten the cardboard tube so it has a crease on both sides. Then, push one crease inward to form a heart, and wrap a piece of tape around the tube so the heart holds its shape. Pour some paint, in the color of your choice, on a plate and dip the heart end of the roll in the paint. Then, decorate a card with heart shapes. Let the card dry and write a special message inside.

Melted crayon hearts. This is a great way to use all the broken crayons your children have accrued over the years. You can also use new crayons if you do not have any old or broken ones. First, buy some Valentine heart molds at a craft store. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Unwrap the crayons, making sure all the paper is removed. Break the crayons into small pieces. Separate by color if you want single-color hearts; otherwise you can mix them together. Break or cut the crayons into small pieces. Place the crayons into the mold and fill it up about three-quarters. Bake the crayons for 20 minutes. When they are done, allow each heart to cool completely before taking them out of the molds. Taking them out too soon will result in breakage. Always supervise your children around the oven and do not leave them unattended.

Valentine's Day pencils. Start this easy craft by painting pencils red and silver. Glitter paint adds a festive touch! Each pencil will need a couple of coats. Make sure they dry completely between coats. While they are drying, take red and silver pipe cleaners and form hearts and spiral shapes. When the pencils are dry, twist the tail of the pipe cleaner shape around the end of the pencil. Hot glue will help hold the pipe cleaners in place.
