Sagacious Consultants Supports Veterans Charities With $10,000 Donation
Lenexa, KS (PRWEB) July 30, 2014 -- Sagacious Consultants, the premier full-service Epic consulting company, announced today it will donate $10,000 to a group of charities supporting veterans—Wounded Warrior Project, Camp American Legion, the Legacy Fund, and the Aaron Grider Foundation. This donation is part of Sagacious Consultants’ charitable bonus program, which gives consultants an opportunity to contribute a donation every year to a charity of their choice and make a meaningful impact on their surrounding communities.
“We are thrilled to make this contribution in honor of the men and women who have sacrificed to protect our nation,” said Jesse Adams, Sagacious Consultants Vice President and Marine Corps Veteran. “This is a cause that our employees believe in wholeheartedly.”
Nick Freund, a Senior Hospital Billing Consultant at Sagacious Consultants, was the catalyst for the donation. He is the lead organizer of a benefit dinner for veterans at the Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center in Oshkosh, Wis. on August 8. All proceeds from "Wisconsin Remembers: A Veterans Salute" go towards the four veterans charities. Freund’s Sagacious colleagues offered their charitable bonuses to the cause when news of the event spread.
“I am incredibly grateful to be working for a company that values giving back to the community, and I am proud to work alongside coworkers who have generously applied their donations to a cause I believe in,” said Freund. “With this contribution, Sagacious Consultants has helped ensure the success of our fundraiser and has honored those service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
In 2013, Sagacious Consultants donated nearly $40,000 to charities throughout the year on behalf of its employees.
