Sage Hospitality Hires Senior Vice President, Managed Development
DENVER, April 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Sage Hospitality, one of the nation's top hotel investment and management companies, has hired Jamey Cua in the newly specified role of Senior Vice President, Managed Development. In this role, Cua will be responsible for securing long-term management contracts, continuing to grow the hotel management portfolio of the dynamic hospitality company.

Cua brings more than 18 years of experience in hotel and franchise development to Sage, having previously held positions with both Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. As the Vice President of Development - East Region for Marriott International, Cua oversaw the development of 16 full-service and luxury brands. Before joining Marriott, Jamey was with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from 2007-2016 as the Senior Director of Development overseeing brand growth for the Starwood Legacy Brands. While at Starwood, Jamey was part of the original development team that launched the Aloft and Element brands.
Cua began his career in the hospitality industry in 1998 working for Cendant Hotel Group as Director of Development, which is now Wyndham Hotels Worldwide. Jamey earned a Bachelor of Science from Marietta College in 1990, and a Masters of Business Administration from Franklin University in 2006.
