Each month Saint Germain Catering offers a different selection of specials designed to appease a vast array of tastes. The October specials give tribute to Oktoberfest, common fall foods, and Halloween.
“We ‘fall for fall,’” says Sarah Miller, Vice President of Saint Germain Catering. “While we look forward to the holidays, we also like to take the time to celebrate the Autumn season."
October’s specials include a “Southern Country Breakfast” option that includes country scrambled eggs, a side of cheddar cheese, crispy bacon strips, warm buttermilk biscuits, pepper country sausage gravy, and a seasonal fruit salad. Other Oktoberfest is finished, for those that still want to celebrate with some good old-fashioned German-oriented food, Saint Germain Catering is offering a “Celebrate Oktoberfest” special including smoked bratwurst, boneless chicken schnitzel, potato pancakes with apple spread, German potato salad, sauerkraut, and Oktoberfest apple strudel. Another great option is the “Falling Leaves” lunch special featuring oven-roasted breast of chicken stuffed with mushroom stuffing, homemade pan gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, crimson baked cranberries, steamed vegetables, and gourmet rolls with butter. And of course, October’s specials wouldn’t be complete without the “Trick and Treats Sweets” dessert option, which includes a platter of Halloween cookies and cupcakes.
Although there are many options, Saint Germain Catering is proud to also offer a monthly special on their “Pink Ribbon Cupcakes” in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. “We like to have fun, but we also like to make a difference for others,” says Miller. “Helping to promote breast cancer awareness is just one of many ways we’re involved in the community.”
