Saint Luke’s Health System CFO Named to Becker’s Hospital Review Leadership listing
Kansas City, Mo. (PRWEB) May 30, 2017 -- Becker's Hospital Review released today the 2017 edition of its list of “150 Hospital and Health System CFOs to know”.
Chuck Robb, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Saint Luke’s Health System has been named to the list.
The CFOs included on this list lead some of the most prominent for-profit and nonprofit hospitals and health systems in the nation and help their organizations navigate the challenges in healthcare today. These CFOs have turned around their institutions, led professional organizations and been instrumental in developing successful hospital and health system strategy. Becker’s Hospital Review began publishing this list in 2011 and Robb has been included on the list since 2013.
Chuck Robb is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO. Since joining Saint Luke’s in 1991 he has been responsible for or participated in a broad array of activities including capital structure planning and implementation, integrated delivery system development and acquisitions and divestitures. In addition to oversight of the traditional finance functions and areas such as information technology, construction and facilities, he serves on numerous hospital and other boards, including those of two nonprofit hospitals and a nonprofit foundation. He is a certified public accountant and, prior to joining Saint Luke's, was with Ernst & Young.
He is a member of numerous professional organizations including AICPA, MSCPA, HFMA and HIMSS and serves on several statewide committees. He is Chairman of the Board of John Knox Village, a large non-profit continuing care retirement community and chairs its investment and compensation committees. He is on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Society of CPA’s and past Chair of its health care committee. He is past Chairman of the Board of MAST, which operated the ambulance system in Kansas City, and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Kansas City Municipal Assistance Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Vizient—Mid America and is past Chairman of the Board.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he serves on the Accounting Advisory Board.
