Sales Renewal Proud to Support Kids Really Rock and Room to Grow
Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 16, 2015 -- Sales Renewal Corporation is extremely proud to once again support Boston Kids Really Rock, a free, all-day family festival on Saturday, September 26, 2015, to benefit Room to Grow. The festival takes place at The Lawn on D, thanks to generous sponsorship by the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority. The festival features two stages of performances by nationally-acclaimed bands for families and children, and hands-on art and community service activities. (Rain Date September 27th.) All details can be found at the Kids Really Rock website: http://www.kidsreallyrock.com.
Sales Renewal is supporting Kids Really Rock by building and maintaining the festival website, which serves as an information hub for festival organizers, sponsors, and families. Sales Renewal staff members are also assisting with event promotion and social media. “Sales Renewal is pleased to have a hand in getting the word out about this, the second annual, festival,” says Keith Loris, President and CEO of Sales Renewal. “We first got involved when we were asked to help out with the website for the One Family Music Festival - the precursor to this event that took place in May 2013 – and are committed to contributing in a similar fashion for Kids Really Rock.”
Kids Really Rock is expected to draw over 2,500 people and is a featured event of ArtWeek Boston, a week-long festival highlighting the quality and diversity of the arts, culture and creative community of Greater Boston.
Free, Family-Friendly Festival Features Music & Fun
The event features two stages of family music. Performers include The Pop Ups, a children’s musical duo based in Brooklyn, NY and Alphabet Rockers, the Bay Area-based family hip-hop group. They join nationally-known Massachusetts-based artists: Alastair Moock & Friends, Karen K and the Jitterbugs, Mister G, Debbie & Friends, Ben Rudnick & Friends, Josh and the Jamtones, Ethan Rossiter and the Jamberries, Stacey Peasley Band, and Vanessa Trien & the Jumping Monkeys. Uncle Devin, from Washington DC, leads an interactive Percussion Playground on the Lawn all day, and Mister Whirly is a roving musician and serves as MC, along with Good News Gus.
Kids Really Rock is pleased to partner this year with Room to Grow, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development. The event is a culmination of a city-wide Books & Bibs Drive, and attending families who are able are asked to bring a book or a bib to donate to Room to Grow.
Arts and community organizations from neighborhoods in and around Boston lead special activities like: Bookmaking, with award-winning Kidcasso Art Studio; Stuffed Animal Portraits, with We Art Boston; a Kids Really Rock Fitness Activity with My Gym; and much more. Food and refreshment is provided by local vendors.

About Room to Grow
Room to Grow, a nonprofit organization founded in 1998 and located in Boston and New York, is dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development. Parents expecting a baby are referred to Room to Grow by selected prenatal programs assisting low-income families. Upon their referral, parents visit Room to Grow's warm and inviting space once every three months from just before the birth of the baby until their child turns three. During their one-on-one appointments with our staff social workers, typically lasting two hours, parents receive developmental information, customized support, referrals to other community resources, and all of the needed baby items to ensure a healthy and secure start for their child. The $10,000 of essential material items for the baby that each family receives over the course of three years, including 130 books for the child’s home library, are all donated to Room to Grow by generous individuals and corporations. Room to Grow currently supports nearly 400 families in each location. Learn more at http://www.RoomtoGrow.org.
