Sally Webb Berry, CSEP to Deliver Keynote Address at Duke Special Event Planning Council Conference

(PRWEB) June 07, 2016 -- The Special Event Company CEO, Sally Webb Berry, CSEP, is scheduled as keynote speaker for the first annual Duke Special Event Planning Council (SEPC) Conference on June 8. In her keynote titled, “Risk Management is Not Just About Insurance,” Sally will address the importance of assessing risk in event and meeting planning. The full-day conference, held at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, welcomes SEPC members to discuss event planning and vendor awareness. SEPC membership is comprised of more than 150 event and meeting planners throughout both Duke’s university and health systems.
Sally Webb Berry joins the conference not only as keynote speaker, but also as an instructor of the Event Development Certification course at Duke University. The Certification, taught by local, qualified event professionals, is designed to instruct both event newcomers and seasoned industry professionals in successfully planning an event from start to finish. Sally has been an instructor of this course since 2012.
