Samanage Expands Customer Data Protection, Launches EU Data Center to Meet Requirements of New EU-US Privacy Shield

The company also received Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Certification of security controls and operations to provide customers a higher level of protection currently mandated by the industry.

Additionally, today the company announced that it has successfully undergone a Service Organization Control 2SM Type II examination and received its SOC 2 Certification. An SOC 2SM Type II report is designed to meet the needs of existing or potential customers who require assurance about the effectiveness of the controls at a service organization relevant to the security, availability or processing integrity of the system used by Samanage to protect customers’ information and maintain the confidentiality and privacy of that information.
