Sanctuary T Announces 6th Annual Iced Tea Festival
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- Summer is officially underway in New York City, bringing sweltering heat and humidity to city streets; but not to worry! Relief is on the way with Sanctuary T®’s 6th Annual Iced Tea Festival, running from July 13 until July 31, 2013.
The theme for this year’s Iced Tea Festival is "Now and Then," where Sanctuary T® will be reinterpreting nostalgic ice cold soda pops with all-natural concoctions of our signature loose leaf teas, natural sweeteners and carbonation.
During the festival, Sanctuary T® will be challenging customers to daily blind taste tests between three classic brands of soda (Coca Cola®, Canada Dry Ginger Ale® and Sprite®), and Sanctuary T®’s all natural tea beverages. We expect the results will surprise you.
No worries for tea purists: there will also be a daily sampling of tea brewed in the cold-brew method and the hot-brew method for side-by-side comparison. After a visit to this table, participants will be able to speak with authority on which method of iced tea brewing they prefer.
Taste tasting and sample stations will be set up 12pm until 8pm.
Participants will relieve the heat for those less fortunate: during the festival half of all iced tea sales proceeds will go to benefit The Bowery Mission in lower Manhattan.
All drinks are guaranteed to be mouthwateringly photogenic and in that light, festival goers are invited to post pictures to Instagram with hashtag #icedteafestival. The photo with the most “likes” on Instagram will win an exclusive Sanctuary T® gift box worth more than $100.
The festival will culminate in the Now & Then Tea Cocktail Party where noted mixologist East Lee will mix up classic drinks like Rum & Coke® and 7 & 7 using our tea brews.
