Santa Barbara Personal Training Center, Fit Body Boot Camp, Celebrates Grand Opening by Raising Proceeds for the Santa Barbara County Food Bank
Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) October 24, 2013 -- The Santa Barbara personal training center known as Fit Body Boot Camp has today announced plans to host a Grand Opening fundraising event on Saturday, November 2nd from 11 am until 2 pm to benefit the local county food bank at their 4175 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93110 boot camp studio.
Santa Barbara Fit Body Boot Camp’s Grand Opening will feature fun activities like 15 minute mini boot camp sessions as well as a raffle to win prizes ranging anywhere from three free months of boot camp, $100 gift cards to local businesses and wine baskets to makeovers, facials, and massages. There will also be a BBQ for everyone in attendance to enjoy and a DJ will be at the event to supply live entertainment.
Owner and operator of the Fit Body Boot Camp in Santa Barbara, local fitness expert Marianna Sarkisova says, “I am so excited about this Grand Opening event! We want to show new people what we are all about and we want our members to show their friends and family what they are doing with us to reach their weight loss and fitness goals. We hope to bring more awareness to the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. We want to show that exercises could be so much fun!”
All proceeds raised from the event will go to Food Bank of Santa Barbara, whose mission is to provide nourishment to those in need by acquiring and distributing safe nutritious foods through local agencies and providing education to solve hunger and nutrition problems in Santa Barbara County.
Sarkisova explains, “In Santa Barbara County, 1 out of every 4 people receive food support from our local food bank and 44% of them are children! It's a huge number and we want to help out, especially before the Thanksgiving holidays.”
Open six days a week, the Fit Body Boot Camp features various morning, afternoon, and evening session times to fit the busy schedule of the Santa Barbara community.
