SAP Selects Solace Systems to Support High-Performance Messaging in the Cloud for Digital Businesses
Ottawa, Ontario (PRWEB) July 15, 2015 -- Solace Systems announced today that SAP will be using Solace’s next-generation messaging middleware in upcoming releases of its cloud-based integration service. The integration of Solace’s message router technology into SAP HANA® Cloud Platform is intended to help enterprises more easily take advantage of big data, cloud computing and the Internet of Things.
Moving enterprise IT systems to the cloud increases the volume and volatility of information they send, receive and share. The increasing demand for real-time big data amplifies this effect, as does the desire to link sensors and control systems as part of the Internet of Things. Cloud integration service providers need scalable, cost-effective ways to mitigate these effects.
SAP HANA Cloud Platform includes a dedicated integration service called SAP HANA Cloud Integration that is designed to connect applications, business partners and devices as part of end-to-end business processes running in the cloud. Augmenting that service with Solace’s high-performance message router technology will help customers realize distributed hybrid cloud connectivity, while also helping to meet the unprecedented scale and throughput requirements of big data and Internet of Things initiatives.
The solution offers high throughput, high availability and peak load capacity for thousands of tenants to support some of the most demanding distributed applications. Integration into SAP HANA Cloud Platform, and deployment directly in the data centers hosting SAP cloud solutions, will help enable customers to connect business processes with virtually unlimited numbers of end points without having to plan, implement, integrate and operate the individual components of the infrastructure.
