Sari, Bohm, Fritz Launch New Company; Announce Changes for Horizon Builders
CROFTON, MD (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- Joe Bohm, President and CEO of Horizon Builders, and George Fritz, COO, today announced that they and Abe Sari are launching a new company, Alliance Builders, LLC. Alliance will focus on new residential construction and remodeling in the metro area, including Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Sari, who has served as the Vice President of Production for Horizon Builders for more than 27 years, will serve as President and CEO of Alliance Builders. He will maintain full operating authority of the company; as outside investors, Bohm and Fritz have been elected to the Board of Directors and will participate in an advisory capacity.
Bohm and Fritz also announced an ownership change to Horizon Builder’s affiliated company, Horizon HouseWorks, LLC. Geary Deptula, General Manager of Horizon HouseWorks, has acquired an equity position in the company, where he will serve as President and CEO. Under his leadership, Horizon HouseWorks plans to expand its products and services while continuing to offer specialized home repairs and residential renovations and restorations. Deptula will have full operating authority, and Bohm and Fritz will serve the company in an advisory capacity.
Bohm and Fritz endorsed these moves. "More than 30 years ago, Joe and I were given a chance to achieve our dream of owning and running a successful company," said Fritz. "We are thrilled and honored to be in a position to support the entrepreneurial endeavors of two hard-working, talented and highly regarded Horizon employees. We will support them in every way possible."
Horizon Builders was recently awarded a large-scale residential project in upstate New York and is scheduled to commence several significant projects within the next six months, primarily in Virginia. The company will continue to strengthen its core business of constructing and renovating fine residences in its primary areas of operation in the Washington, DC metro area, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware.
