SASF Unveils Exciting New Partnership with the Jr. Knicks, Jr. Liberty and Jr. Dub Knicks Youth Basketball Organizations and the Jr. Rangers Youth Hockey Organization
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 05, 2016 -- The Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation (SASF), a non-profit organization and one of the largest providers of afterschool programs in New York City and its metropolitan regions, announced today its partnership with the Jr. Knicks, Jr. Liberty, Jr. Dub Knicks and the Jr. Rangers for the winter 2016-2017 seasons. The announcement was formally made at the beginning of SASF’s Annual Elementary School Basketball League Season, which took place this past Saturday, December 3, 2016.
Through this venture, 40 SASF basketball students will have the opportunity to play on the court at Madison Square Garden during halftime of the New York Knicks games on January 4 and March 27, 2017. Additionally, the Jr. Knicks, Jr. Liberty and Jr. Dub Knicks will host basketball clinics for more than 500 of SASF’s student athletes. The Jr. Rangers will provide access to street hockey equipment for the SASF program.
The organizations, will also provide alumni appearances at key upcoming events including the Annual Winter League, 3v3 Tournament, Basketball Clinics, Floor Hockey Leagues and Tournament, and other Basketball-specific engagements. Additionally, onsite complimentary professional development training sessions for SASF staff and team coaches.

Jr. Knicks’ official uniform vendor, POINT 3 Basketball, will dress all SASF student participants, at a discounted cost to the organization, for their activities this season.
