Savage Universal Announces Sponsorship of Photographer Zhang Jingna

Born in the suburbs of Beijing, Jingna moved to Singapore at age eight. She bought her first camera when she was a fashion design student at 18. With a natural eye and talent for the lens, she left school before graduation to pursue photography full time. In the year after she turned pro, international ad agency Ogilvy & Mather approached her to shoot for Mercedes Benz Taiwan. She also became a regular contributor to Harper’s Bazaar Singapore and took two third-place prizes in the highly prestigious International Photography Awards.
Since then, Jingna’s portfolio has expanded to include such companies as MontBlanc, Canon, Lancome, Pond’s, TRESemme, and Random House Publishing. She is now based in New York where she continues to work with leading publishers and other companies worldwide.
Jingna’s relationship with Savage began when she used the company’s backdrops for her famous Motherland Chronicles series. She will be a featured photographer on Savage’s blog, showcasing her photographs and providing reviews on select Savage products.
