Saylor Insurance Agency and the Family Promise Organization of Orange County Announce Charity Drive to Support Food Pantry Program
Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) August 16, 2016 -- Saylor Insurance Agency, a California-based insurance and financial planning firm that provides coverage to business and residential clients throughout the Los Angeles region, is initiating a charity drive to fund the SNAC program for the Family Promise of Orange County organization.
Family Promise of Orange County (FPOC) works to engage community members and offer aid to underprivileged and homeless families. The Supplemental Nutrition and Cooking (SNAC) program series is a six month course that teaches cooking, nutrition, and food management skills, providing underprivileged families with skills to manage a food budget, prepare and store healthy food, and properly utilize food bank resources.
“As well as providing food to those who are hungry, the SNAC program allows underprivileged families to learn how to select and prepare nutritious and delicious meals with food pantry resources,” says Lisa Saul, founder and manager of Saylor Insurance Agency.
