Saylor Insurance Agency and the Muscular Dystrophy Association Launch Joint Charity Effort Centered on the Orange County Area
Lakewood, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- Saylor Insurance Agency, a locally owned insurance firm with offices that serve Lakewood and the greater Orange County area, is initiating a cooperative charity campaign with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This campaign aims to provide services and support to local residents dealing with MD and associated dysfunctional neuromuscular syndromes.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Orange County is dedicated to offering help to nearby residents who are afflicted by muscular dystrophy or any similar form of neuromuscular disease. The local MDA chapter offers funding to numerous local clinics where those in need can find provide professional and courteous treatment. The MDA also offers a host of support groups for those with muscular dystrophy and their families, and the organization runs a summer camp for children.
“Raising awareness about muscular dystrophy and ensuring that the MDA is fully funded are absolutely critical to ensure the well-being of many families in our community,” says Lisa Saul, owner and manager of Saylor Insurance. “The MDA does excellent work in their campaign to assist those with neuromuscular disease, and we’re proud to do our part to help them.”
Saul and her team are forging relationships with local community members and business owners in an effort to educate the Orange County population about the realities of muscular dystrophy, and are working hard to raise funds that will be provided to the Orange County MDA. The team is also building an online social media portal that they hope will attract supporters from all across the Los Angeles area.
In addition to assisting the Orange County MDA in their mission to provide for local sufferers of muscular dystrophy, the Saylor Insurance team is working with several other local charities and plans to find a new charity to support from within the local community every 30-60 days going forward.
