Scaled Agile, Inc. Announces First-Ever Scaled Agile Partner Summit in Denver, Colorado October 5–6 2015
Boulder, Colorado (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- Scaled Agile, Inc. (SAI), provider of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®), the world’s most comprehensive framework for adopting Lean-Agile principles and practices across an enterprise, today announced it will host their first conference to focus exclusively on the Scaled Agile Partner community and their certified practitioners. The Summit will be held October 5–6, 2015 in Denver, Colorado.
Exclusively for Scaled Agile Partners business leaders and their certified practitioners (SPCs and SPCTs), the two-day event is dedicated to building Partner success in selling, supporting, and effectively deploying SAFe® products and services. It will provide actionable, targeted content designed for Partners to deliver world-class customer results. The schedule will include proven go-to-market strategies, insider access to SAFe methodologists and thought leaders, customer success showcases, SAFe implementation strategies, and a deep dive into Scaled Agile’s game-changing decision to support both the software and systems communities with a single framework, and how to derive the most value from the new version of SAFe.
"The goal of our first Partner Summit is to demonstrate ways that businesses who have adopted SAFe can maximize the value of their investment in the methodology," said Chris James, President and COO of Scaled Agile. "It will be an opportunity for attendees to learn how our vision and roadmap for future framework iterations will help meet critical business needs for both the software and system development communities.”
“The SAFe community has rapidly grown into a tremendous network of Lean-Agile professionals, and Scaled Agile Partners are at the heart of that community,” said Francis Kelly, Scaled Agile’s VP of Partner Development and Enterprise Sales. “Launching the Summit enables us to build a dynamic global forum in which to share ways to improve outcomes for SAFe adopters across all industries and systems. Our goal is not to have participants leave with pages of notes and a bag full of business cards and brochures, but to be present and engaged in stimulating and inspiring content that they can use in their real world context as soon as they return to their workplace.”
Immediately following the Summit, Scaled Agile will host an optional upgrade certification course on Wednesday, October 7. This 1-day training event will cover what’s new in SAFe 4.0, and enable certified SPCs and SPCTs to teach the next generation Leading SAFe courseware. It will prepare them for the test to upgrade their certification status to SAFe 4.0, making course attendees the first practitioners to earn version-specific certification.
“We have taken every opportunity to test assumptions and learn new insights from our practitioners in the field,” said Dean Leffingwell, Chief Methodologist and CEO of Scaled Agile. “The next generation of SAFe is making a dramatic pivot toward a broader, more modular and scalable Framework that supports both software and system development communities. With SAFe 4.0 General Availability scheduled for November, 2015, these first-generation 4.0 practitioners will light the way for broader adoption by enterprises eager to realize the benefits of the newest version of the Framework.”
