These innovative designs achieve their compact proportions by relying on a unique three-finger hand grip and a skeletonized frame designed with the assistance of finite element analysis. Like the company’s multitools, these slingshots are precision-machined from premium aerospace-grade materials, ensuring high strength and long life despite their diminutive proportions. While operation of these tools is very much like that of classic slingshots and they’re rated to handle typical slingshot bands with draw weights up to 25 pounds, the portability of Schnelle slingshots is unequalled. “The bulk and heft of traditional slingshot designs has never allowed a user to carry one inconspicuously on a daily basis. With designs as thin as .06 inches and as short as a car key, we’ve changed that,” says co-founder Sarah Schnelle.
