Science Center's Coffee & Counsel Program Brings Seasoned Business Development Expert to The Navy Yard
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- Cleantech and energy entrepreneurs will get face time with one of the region’s leading advisors when Coffee & Counsel, a Satellite Quorum program developed by the University City Science Center, returns on Thursday, April 24. Alvin Lavoie, Recruitment Lead for Cleantech Open and former business and product development expert at DOW Ventures and Rohm and Haas Co. will meet with a small group of entrepreneurs over coffee and a light breakfast for an informal Q&A session at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. An expansion of the Science Center’s successful Quorum program, Satellite Quorum is offering programming in partnership with the Consortium for Building Energy Innovation (CBEI) that plugs entrepreneurs into the cleantech and advanced energy retrofit industries and connects them with the people and resources necessary to grow their startups.
(CBEI is formerly known as the Energy Efficient Buildings Hub.)
The April 24 Coffee & Counsel session will begin at 7:45 a.m. with registration, networking and a continental breakfast. The formal program will run from 8 – 9:30 a.m. with additional networking opportunities immediately following.
