Scientific Association Upgraded to Verian Cloud in Just 60 Days
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) August 08, 2013 -- Verian, known for providing the broadest purchasing and invoice processing software suite on the market, has migrated purchase-to-pay (P2P) applications for one of the world’s largest nonprofits from the client’s private-hosted environment to the multi-tenant Verian cloud.
The nonprofit client is the oldest and largest scientific and educational association dedicated to safe and sustainable water in the world. With approximately 50,000 members, the association provides solutions to improve public health, protect the environment, strengthen the economy, and enhance quality of life.
The association has been a Verian private-hosted client for a number of years. The upgrade included updating the client’s previous version of Verian’s Purchase Manager to the latest cloud version, along with complete migration of all historical data. The entire upgrade and data migration process was completed in just 60 days.
The migration was completed using Verian’s proprietary Data Migration Tool, which provides seamless transition to customers moving from traditional on premises versions of Verian’s software to cloud-based (SaaS) instances.
Verian’s Data Migration Tool made it possible for the client to smoothly and expediently migrate to the cloud without losing any of their transaction data, providing them with all the benefits of the cloud platform without losing business continuity.

When Verian rolls out upgrades, they will now happen for the client automatically at no additional charge.
