Scoopy TV to Launch Affordable Entertainment and Education Platform for Children

Refael Productions aims to use high definition animation capabilities to create virtual English language learning platform for children with the help of laughable, colorful and futuristic 3D animated character named Scoopy.
Nitzan Sitzer, internationally recognized actor and voiceover specialist, is part of the Scoopy TV team. “Working on projects such as Scoopy TV is what gives me a great feeling,” says Nitzan, adding that “I love knowing that my work will provide kids the chance to study English through a friendly and fun teacher and nothing is more satisfying than that.”
Scoopy uses repetition, animation and high quality graphics to teach kids English. Scoopy TV is currently raising funds using the popular crowdfunding site Indiegogo, and their goal is to raise enough money to create additional characters, videos and games that will help kids learn English online.
Scoopy TV has been under development for over a year during which educational, pedagogical and linguistic advisors have worked with the Refael Productions team to create a new teaching method that will appeal to children and ensure a deeper level of internalization and understanding. The Scoopy TV videos are 4-6 minutes in length and incorporate the newest technological, animation and graphic design elements. The videos and characters have been subjected to multiple product testing and after enjoying positive feedback from parents, educators and children, Refael Productions decided to crowdsource the funds needed to create the Scoopy TV platform by offering premium zone to early subscribers.
The idea behind Scoopy TV is to create a fun and positive learning environment where children can learn the English alphabet and the most commonly used keywords, while overcoming their fear of the unknown. Scoopy TV teaches English in a fun, relatable and enjoyable way – “so enjoyable, kids don’t even realize that Scoopy is there to teach them,” says CEO Ofira Levi. The Scoopy videos are designed to captivate young children’s attention both in length and in content, further adding to their desire to watch more videos and increase their engagement with Scoopy and the English language.
Itsik Levy, the co-founder of Refael Productions, says that the reason for launching Scoopy in such a platform is because “our goal as a production company is to utilize the high end technological capabilities and high quality entertainment that we are known for and use it to create an interactive and positive educational experience.”
