After a full year in development, SMIL, a leading medical imaging group in the southwestern United States, launched their new website, esmil.com. SMIL’s new website offers a completely new user experience tailored to the patients and physicians with new features redesigned from the ground up.
SMIL’s goal for the new website is to have a faster, cleaner, uncluttered design that is easier to navigate for both patients and physicians. The new site is completely fluid, fully responsive and fits all types of browser resolutions. It also has a touch-friendly mobile navigation menu. “Most of all, SMIL wants to give patients the most helpful, accurate medical imaging information available at the same time as providing physicians with the tools and resources they need when working with a leading radiology group,” says Jessica Montgomery, Chief Operations Officer with SMIL.
With the new, user-friendly format, visitors can easily navigate and access information instead of sifting through content to find the information they need such as what to expect during a mammogram or in-depth information on the latest in diagnostic testing using nuclear medicine. “We have created an innovative platform to share our physicians’ knowledge and expertise in the complex field of medical imaging,” said Montgomery. “We expect esmil.com to become a single destination for patients seeking to learn more about this important aspect of their healthcare and a valuable resource for referring physicians seeking to help educate and inform.”
The new website was designed and programmed by Idyllwild Advertising, a digital marketing and development agency based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Idyllwild Advertising specializes in website development and built every aspect of the site from the design to the final programming. “When SMIL first came to us for their website, we wanted to design a site that would be easy to navigate so their patients wouldn’t get lost in pages of confusing medical terms,” said Michelle Smith, CEO of Idyllwild Advertising. “We wanted to make the site more ‘human’.
