ScribbleLive Expands Management Team and Names Vincent Mifsud New Chief Executive Officer
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- Scribble Technologies Inc. (Scribble), the world’s leading end-to-end platform for content engagement (http://www.scribblelive.com), announced the appointment of Vincent Mifsud as chief executive officer. This change in management comes alongside Scribble’s rapid growth from an early-stage start-up to an international company at the forefront of one of the largest shifts in the marketing sector as brands and media companies look to technologies like Scribble to drive engagement on their digital assets.
Over the past 20 years, Vincent Mifsud has held C-level positions for three of the fastest growing technology companies in Canada including Rand, Pivotal, and Genesis. During his tenure at Rand and Pivotal, the companies increased revenue 10x to $300 million and $100 million respectively, both expanded from private companies to public companies. As the founder and CEO of Genesis, a green technology company, Mifsud oversaw the growth of $30 million in just 5 years by licensing its technology globally.
“Scribble has grown significantly since its inception, and we plan to continue our success. We started as software for the live news coverage market and have evolved into an end-to-end content engagement platform with a market focus on brands and major sports organizations as well as media companies. Our goal is to grow Scribble into a large company over the next 5 years and to be the leader in the content engagement market across both media and brands,” said Mifsud.
Recent additions to the management team include Aleya Chattopadhyay, Chief Marketing Officer; Divesh Sisodraker, EVP of Corporate Development; Kim Fox, VP of Content; Paul Harraghy, VP of Media Sales - Europe; and George Strathern, VP of Media Sales –North America—all of whom boast impressive track records of growing and scaling businesses. Scribble has also added sales talent from leading tech powerhouses Salesforce.com, LinkedIn and Experion.
These new members of the Scribble team will be joining existing executives, Jonathan Keebler, Co-founder and CTO; Kate Fairhurst, VP of Channel Partners; and John Clarke, VP of Corporate Sales.
Former CEO, Michael De Monte, remains with Scribble as co-founder and a key member of the team focused on strategic sales and global accounts. “I’m thrilled to see my vision of ScribbleLive come so far in 5 years, and now it’s time to step aside and make room for a leader that can accelerate the company’s growth and build on its foundation for even greater success. I am committed to ScribbleLive and its future and I’m thrilled to be a part of the team driving our success forward,” said De Monte.
