SDR Ventures’ Carol Frank Named Finalist for 2013 Outstanding Women in Business
Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- SDR Ventures, Inc., a Denver-based investment banking firm, is pleased to announce that Carol Frank, Managing Director, has been named a Finalist in the Banking, Finance and Accounting category of The Denver Business Journal’s 2013 Outstanding Women in Business awards.
Each year, the Denver Business Journal recognizes Denver's most influential women at the annual Outstanding Women in Business awards event. The event honors several women in different industries who have achieved great success through leadership in business and community contribution. This year, the 15th annual Outstanding Women in Business awards luncheon will be held on Tuesday, August 20th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Denver.
Carol joined the SDR team in October 2009, bringing with her years of experience working with C-level executives and an expertise in the pet industry. Having developed three multi-million dollar pet companies, Carol uses her specialized knowledge to help other business owners achieve their goals by guiding them through transactions, helping obtain capital and providing strategic advisory services. Since joining the firm, Carol has advised some of the top companies in the pet industry across all sections including manufacturing and distributing of pet products, food and health. Her quarterly newsletter the “Deal Hound” is read by thousands each year providing insight into pet industry news and getting Pet CEO’s unique perspectives through in-depth interviews.
