Secure Pacific Celebrates 100 Local Arrests from Verified Alarm Systems
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Secure Pacific Corporation, a locally owned verified security alarm company, earned its 100th and 101st criminal apprehensions with the arrest of two suspected burglars by the Bellevue Police Department on March 29. Dispatching police immediately and with sufficient information to find an intruder during a burglary is rare in the electronic security industry, so this important milestone reflects Secure Pacific’s commitment to early and verified detection of criminal activity.
Not long after midnight on March 29, an operator at Secure Pacific’s Verification Center in Everett, Wash. was notified of multiple motion detector trips at East Side Nissan. Rather than calling the business owner and asking if anyone was supposed to be at the dealership at that time, as a conventional alarm provider would, the Secure Pacific operator used video technology to verify the cause of the alarms. She could see a man on the site wearing a light colored sweatshirt and a backpack. The operator dispatched the Bellevue Police Department to a verified burglary in progress—a distinction that lends a much higher police prioritization to the incident than a non-verified alarm. She gave the police department details about the suspect’s appearance and exact location at the lot. Fewer than five minutes later, the police officers arrived and located not only the suspect seen on video but a male accomplice as well. The suspects gained entry to the dealership’s parking garage by scaling a gate. Both men were arrested.
