SecuriCare And CliniMed To Hike Over The 02 Dome Roof To Raise Money For Bowel Cancer UK
Loudwater, Bucks (PRWEB UK) 31 July 2014 -- On 31st July, a team from SecuriCare and CliniMed is hiking over the 02 Dome Roof in London to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
The team of eight, includes SecuriCare Stoma Care Nurses, Deborah Bull and Sara Cowley as well as extreme runner and blogger, Scott Smith who had surgery for bowel cancer 8 years ago and Lorna Haymes, a founder of the #getyourbellyout Twitter campaign.
Team member, Ben Miles, who is the Marketing Director at CliniMed, said, “I’m absolutely delighted that it looks as if we will smash our fundraising target of £500. Our Corporate and Social Responsibility Group came up with this great idea of walking the 02 Dome Roof to raise money for our 2014 chosen charity, Bowel Cancer UK. Scott and Lorna jumped at the chance to join us as it’s going to be a really memorable challenge.”
