See the Common Core in Action in a Real High School Classroom
SALT LAKE CITY (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 -- School Improvement Network, the leader in educator effectiveness resources, today announced a new video segment showing a Common Core lesson in action in a high school science class that aligns to specific Common Core standards and is demonstration by a master teacher. The video is available to all educators as part of the weekly publication, “Strategy of the Week.”
“Effective teachers in classrooms across the nation are already implementing the Common Core State Standards as integrated into their local school’s curriculum to help students master the 21st century skills they need to succeed in college, career and life after graduation,” said Chet D. Linton, CEO and president of School Improvement Network. “Videos like this Common Core lesson show some of these teachers in action and provide educators the resources to spur student learning and mastery in their own classrooms and schools.”
The Common Core lesson highlighted in this video aligns with ELA Standard 8 and Literacy Standard 3.
