See The New Holy Moly Brand of Kid's Bibles, Books, and Videos
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) July 20, 2015 -- Sparkhouse Family, an imprint of sparkhouse, is pleased to make the Holy Moly line of children's books and animated Bible videos available for use in the home. Holy Moly will release on August 4, 2015, and will include one illustrated Bible, four picture books focusing on specific Bible stories, and two DVDs containing animated videos.
The Holy Moly product line focuses on hilarious, accessible retellings of Bible stories that encourage kids’ creative engagement with them. The colorful stories create a sense of wonder for kids 5–8. “Kid-style drawings use humor and unique shapes to engage kids as they experience beloved Bible stories. Each story invites children to grow in faith as they explore God’s Word,” says Debra Hetherington, Resource Developer at Sparkhouse Family.
In The Holy Moly Story Bible ($22.99), people and places from the Bible are brought to life in creative ways through author Rebecca Glaser’s clever retellings and the unique illustrations provided by Bill Ferenc and Emma Trithart. Each story includes a coloring or drawing activity to help young readers further engage with the Bible. The four Holy Moly Bible Storybooks releasing in August retell popular Old Testament stories such as Noah’s Ark, Jacob and Esau, and David and Goliath. The first four titles ($12.99 each) in the series include Noah’s Ark and Other Bible Stories, Joseph and His Brothers and Other Bible Stories, Baby Moses and Other Bible Stories, and Jonah and the Big Fish and Other Bible Stories. Each engaging picture book encourages creativity and corresponds with a volume in the Holy Moly Bible Stories DVD Collection. The Holy Moly videos use lively animation and sound effects to give kids the opportunity to retell Bible stories in their own words. The first two volumes ($14.99 each) include Creation, Noah’s Ark and Other Bible Stories and Baby Moses, Jonah, and Other Bible Stories.
More Holy Moly picture books and DVDs will follow in October 2015 and February 2016. They will include a special Christmas story collection as well as retellings of other well-known New Testament stories for children, such as Jesus calming a storm and the feeding of the five thousand.
