The Cornelia Arts Building, established in 1986, is one of the largest all-artist studio buildings on Chicago's Northside. As the world comes to Chicago to discuss the state of architecture, the CAM 2015 theme ,The City as Studio, looks at Chicago as a place for investigation, experimentation, innovation and production, and encourages a dialogue with the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial opening in October.
Chicago Artist Month is presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) in collaboration with the Chicago Park District and the Chicago Public Library, and in-kind support from Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises®, Inc.
