SelectAccount Hires New Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations
Eagan, MN (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- SelectAccount, with offices in Eagan, MN and Chicago, IL today announced the appointment of David R. Cantu to the position of Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations effective on February 3, 2014. In this role, Cantu will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts to expand the footprint of SelectAccount’s services in major consumer directed markets across the U.S.
Cantu comes to SelectAccount with over 15 years in a sales and marketing leadership role, with the last 12 years spent in the health and welfare market. His experience focuses on distribution channel management through consultants, brokers, agents and key industry partner relationships in the healthcare industry. He spent the last four years in a consulting role with two of the world’s largest consulting and brokerage firms helping companies with their human resource and employee benefits strategies; Willis North America and Marshall McLennan Agency. Prior to those roles, he managed new sales and account retention for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota’s community accounts division.
Cantu graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Science degree and a major in Economics. He is on the Board of Directors and serves on the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Twin Cities Human Resource Association, is a member of the Minnesota Association of School Business Officials and the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters.
