Selection.com® Sponsors Ohio Challenge and Team Fastrax™ Warrior Weekend to Remember
Middletown, OH (PRWEB) July 02, 2015 -- The 4 day Warrior Weekend to Remember is being held in conjunction with this year’s Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival, and kicks off on Thursday, July 9th with a golf outing at WildWood Golf Course. The Team Fastrax™ Warrior Weekend to Remember is an exciting combination of activities meant to enrich the lives of our active duty and veteran men and women injured in combat or training. Thirty-seven combat injured warriors will participate in activities such as tandem skydives, air-craft rides, nighttime bow fishing, go-kart racing, and balloon rides, all while raising money and awareness for the Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals Warrior Foundation. Additional public events include an Aaron Tippin Concert, Dayton Dragons game, cornhole tournament, Gold Star Family Bike Ride and a 5k/10k Run/Walk.
The Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival runs that Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm and will include skydiving demos by Team Fastrax, fireworks courtesy of Start Skydiving, a laser light show, evening balloon glows, live entertainment, a carnival, car show, and food and craft vendors. Walk-In Admission is $4 per adult (13 and under are free) or $10 per vehicle, which includes parking, admission for all occupants and free shuttle service. Special rates are available for buses and RVs. Saturday and Sunday morning balloon competition flights take place between approximately 7-9 am. Admission to the festival site is free during the morning hours. The festival will conclude Saturday night and the balloon competition will conclude on Sunday morning.

According to their website, Blue Skies for the Good Guys & Gals Warrior Foundation was formed in 2005 by Team Fastrax™ Professional Skydiving Team. The Foundation provides a skydiving program for wounded veterans of America’s Armed Forces. Last year the Foundation took more than 350 of our heroes skydiving. The program is primarily funded through the support of Selection.com®, and through individual donations. The Foundation staff is made up of volunteers from Team Fastrax and 100% of funds raised go directly to support our warrior events.
