Raleigh, North Carolina (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- Seniors Guide will take part in running the Tuna 200, a 203 mile relay race beginning in Raleigh, to support Alzheimer’s North Carolina (AlzNC) in raising funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s support and care.
Associate Publisher of Seniors Guide Magazine, Shannon Tippette, will represent Seniors Guide – the comprehensive senior resource for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill areas of North Carolina for more than 13 years.
Seniors Guide will be helping their team, “Eye of the Tiger”, reach their $5,000 fundraising goal. Alongside Seniors Guide on the team industry partners Heartland Hospice, Crabtree Valley Rehab, Sunrise of Raleigh, and Alzheimer’s NC Inc will be running and raising money.
“100% of donations remain in North Carolina to support research, respite, caregiver conferences, and workshops”, says Tippette.
Alzheimer’s North Carolina, Inc (AlzNC) helps support North Carolina families in 50 counties provide education, support, and services to individuals with dementia and their families.
