Senkatel and SYNNEX Corporation Announce Retail Distribution Agreement
TORONTO, Canada (PRWEB) January 03, 2014 -- Senkatel Corporation, a global supplier of affordable, high-performance tablets, HDTV connectivity devices and K-12 education ecosystem software, today announced the signing of a distribution agreement with SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading distributor of IT products and services.
Under the agreement, SYNNEX sells and supports Senkatel’s portfolio of tablet computers and education ecosystem software for retail, enterprise and education markets in the US through its New Age Electronics division, and exclusively in Canada.
Senkatel’s tablet product line-up now consists of ten models, ranging in size from 7-inch HD multimedia devices, to 11-inch quad XGA ultra-high resolution products equipped with built-in dual band Wi-Fi connectivity and optional 3G/4G cellular communication modules. In July 2013, Senkatel announced two new tablets specifically geared towards the K-12 education market, including classroom management software designed to engage students and promote learning while providing tools to assist the educator’s facilitated learning and asset control initiatives.

The T1011 model includes Intel’s Education Software (IES) suite for assisted tablet learning, while the Senkatel Education Solution (SES) software suite restricts access to certain websites and their content, allowing administrators to protect their students from unauthorized internet access and remotely manage tablet applications.
