Seraph Clothing Launches on Kickstarter, Offering High Quality Wallets, Shirts and Snapback Hats that Incorporate Charity into their Business
LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB) October 02, 2017 -- Seraph Clothing today launched their cause-driven luxury fashion brand on Kickstarter.
Brothers Casey and Rick Wright created the unique line of high quality wallets, shirts and snapback hats that are made in America with a portion of future profits going to charity.
“We got tired of watching big name luxury fashion companies leverage their aggressive marketing and brand recognition to over charge customers for cheap quality products, without a substantial social benefit,” said co-founder Casey Wright.
The goal is to produce American made quality products at reasonable costs while being social entrepreneurs who will donate 20 percent of future profits to one of five charity’s the customer can choose from.
Ninety-seven percent of all materials are made in developing countries such as China, India and Bangladesh. Wright claims it was a challenge searching for Italian leathers and American cottons that were up to par.
When the Seraph team did discover genuine quality fabric and leather shops, they made samples and prototype pre-production product to test/verify fit, form and function and fashion style with their designs.
“All of our hides originally come from the food industry, so no animal hides we buy were just used for the skin,” added Wright. “That would be irresponsible and we don't support poaching and unsustainable practices from suppliers.”
The wallets and card holders are constructed from handpicked Italian top grain leather, exotic viper and sea snake. The leather is hand cut, sewn and finished in Los Angeles.
“Everyone has had a minimalist/slim wallet with radio frequency identification (RFID) blocking,” Wright said. “The percent of RFID theft is very low and most cards are chipped now, so we focused our efforts on luxury and quality with durability.”
The shirts fit great, feel soft and the prints last a long time, unlike competitors. Seraph has an American-made black 100 percent cotton shirt with white print and another vice versa. All shirt information is silkscreened on the inside back collar, eliminating the need for itchy, uncomfortable collar tags.
The American-made, six-panel panel Snapback hat with Italian leather, includes Seraphs signature Dash-Dot-Diamond pattern embossed underneath the visor.
“The crown panels are made from the best materials we could find, American Cotton Twill, American Poly/Cotton Woodland Camo Twill, Italian Wool and more,” he said. “We are millennial guys who wear snapbacks all the time and floppy hats just don't feel like quality, so we Tricoted all of them.”
