Service Underwriting shows confidence by picking Auto Windscreens as ‘supplier of choice’
(PRWEB UK) 26 October 2013 -- Auto Windscreens will handle a projected 12,000 motoring glass claims for Service Underwriting from October, after signing a two-year deal as the windscreen repair and replacement supplier of choice.
It is not the first time that the underwriting agency has partnered with the automotive glazing firm. “We enjoy working with Auto Windscreens and have historically used their service, although not as our first choice supplier in recent times,” said Service Underwriting Claims Director, Ian Holmes. “What this new contract signifies is our renewed confidence in the company. Through a competitive tender process, they have demonstrated their ability to deliver a premiership quality of service to our policyholders.”
Ian continued: “At Service Underwriting, we consider our suppliers to be an extension of our own business and in this particular sector our supplier interfaces with our customers most often, meaning that this appointment is of great importance to us. Auto Windscreens possess all the right credentials to suit our business model and I am delighted to have made this appointment.”
Auto Windscreens has developed its infrastructure over the past two and half years, and has an effective operational model in place.
Joy Cooper, Sales Director of Auto Windscreens, added: “All our teams have worked incredibly hard and have been determined to restore our reputation as a credible glass repair business. We are delighted to have this recognised by Service Underwriting.”
Auto Windscreens last week released news of another insurance customer win and, on top of Service Underwriting, Joy maintains another announcement within the sector is soon to be made, as the supplier appointment and renewals season continues ready for the start of 2014.
“The insurance market is one of two areas we have continued to target for work streams,” remarked Joy. “Our business values and distinctive systems have been formulated to suit this market and its needs, making us an obvious choice for a complete automotive glazing solution. There is stiff competition, but we are finding that insurers and brokers are increasingly turning to us.”
Auto Windscreens’ team has over 40 years’ experience in glazing claims and the business has concentrated on developing a customer-centric car glass replacement service built on honesty, expertise and results.
