Cunningham possesses a proven background in finance and operations scaling business models to promote profitability. Cunningham’s diverse blend of finance, operations, engineering and LEED experience will ensure that GreenWorld is positioned for steady growth within the rapid recovery, sustainable development housing sector.
Cunningham joins the team with 11 years of experience as a management consultant in the utility and infrastructure industry, addressing financial and operational challenges for a range of public sector entities and private companies. During those years, Cunningham played a significant role in over 60 consulting engagements including serving as an advisor to the CFO, providing cash flow and debt issuance analysis, for a multi-billion dollar water pipeline project. Additionally, he led the planning and implementation efforts for the formation of a new regional authority in central Virginia, including the financial and operational analysis to support the issuance of $20 million in revenue bonds. His extensive experience in financial analysis, planning and forecasting, budget planning, valuation, capital investment planning, operations and performance optimization will arm GreenWorld with a strategic advantage in planning for the future and expanding its market share in sustainable development and rapid recovery housing.
Prior to his time as a consultant, Cunningham was a mechanical design engineer at National Instruments (NI), a technology leader in software and hardware development, where he developed new products and maintained existing products as part of multi-disciplinary teams. He was instrumental in leading all aspects of mechanical design, including all physical user-interfaces, heat transfer & cooling, noise emissions, environmental survivability, manufacturability and on-going product support.
Educated right here in GreenWorld’s home of origin, Texas, Cunningham received his undergraduate degree, BS in Mechanical Engineering, from Texas A&M University and went on to complete his MBA in Finance at the University of Texas at Austin. Cunningham is also a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). As the newest member of GreenWorld, Cunningham will provide the insight needed to propel the company forward in its quest to provide more resilient and sustainable housing solutions.
