Sevatec Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Recertification

(Sevatec) announced today that the firm’s Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS) was recertified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant based on quality standards established by the International Organizational for Standardization (ISO), the largest developer of international standards for products and services. Sevatec’s EQMS was previously registered in 2011, demonstrating the firm’s continued commitment to providing superior quality services to the federal government.

Sevatec successfully achieved the registration in January 2014 after International Standards Certifications (ISC), an independent accredited certification body, performed a comprehensive audit based on the eight quality management principles, including customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships. Sevatec’s Quality Team also performed, and continues to conduct, internal audits to ensure its quality management system aligns with industry standards and best practices.
