Sevatec Awarded Prime Contract to Support DOS IIP CMS Implementation

(Sevatec), a leading provider of management and technology consulting services for the federal government, announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract to support the Department of State (DOS), Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP), Office of Digital Publishing. Under the terms of this contract, Sevatec will provide a variety of IT and web development services to support the modernization and transition of IIP’s legacy Webgui embassy infrastructure to an agile and open source CMS platform with a new front-end design.

The IIP’s Office of Digital Publishing is responsible for supporting more than 450 U.S. embassy and consulate websites. The IIP facilitates and provides the infrastructure to foster foreign audiences and relationships, supporting mission critical information regarding U.S. policy and embassy activities to more than 450,000 online visitors each day. Sevatec will be responsible for facilitating and implementing the user research and architecture, designing interfaces and prototypes, transitioning legacy data, and successfully deploying the new CMS embassy platform.
