Sevatec Expands Financial Leadership Team, Hires Daniel Muse as Chief Financial Officer

(Sevatec), a leading provider of management and technology consulting services for the federal government, announced today that it has named Daniel “Dan” Muse, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Dan will have overall responsibility for finance, accounting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other strategic management functions across the firm. As a key member of the executive leadership team, he will play a fundamental role in supporting Sevatec’s financial and operational performance objectives as the company continues to expand and strengthen its market presence.

Dan is a seasoned finance professional with more than 15 years of leadership experience in finance and accounting roles. He brings to Sevatec deep strategy, transaction, and accounting knowledge developed through his extensive experience structuring transactions, performing due diligence, and advising companies on corporate strategy and value creation. Prior to joining Sevatec, Dan served as a Director in the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services Investment Banking Group at Stifel where he advised on more than $3 billion of M&A and capital raising transactions for a wide range of government contracting companies. He previously held finance and business operations positions of increasing responsibility for industry leaders including Goldman Sachs and Arthur Andersen.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Richmond, and a Master's in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He has also earned both the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Charted Financial Analyst® (CFA) designations.
