Seven Wise Investor Group Professionals Named to Northern Virginia Magazine’s 2016 Top Financial Professionals

Baird & Co., a team of experienced financial professionals offering financial planning, portfolio management, investment analysis and account services, announced that seven of its experts have been named to Northern Virginia Magazine’s annual list of the region’s Top Financial Professionals.
Managing Director Simon Hamilton and Senior Vice President Chase Hinderstein were named to the list in the investment planning category. Hamilton, who is recognized for the third consecutive year, leads the group’s Portfolio Management department and focuses on portfolio management, asset allocation and fixed income analysis. Hinderstein, who is a key member of the group’s Investment Decision Committee and plays a lead role in portfolio management, was named to the list for the second consecutive year.
Founding Partner and Managing Director Eric Wightman and Senior Vice President David Mount were recognized in the risk management category. Wightman leads the team’s Investment Decision Committee, setting the group’s overall asset allocation strategy, and was named to the list for the third year in a row. Mount, named to the list for the second consecutive year, specializes in portfolio management and proper asset allocation to meet clients’ specific goals.
Managing Director Greg Smith, CFP®, ChFC®, CPWA® and Senior Vice President Ann Summerson CFP®, CDFA™ were recognized in the retirement planning category for the second consecutive year. Smith, founder of The Wise Investor Group’s financial planning department, provides expertise on retirement, college and estate planning. Summerson specializes in providing guidance for seniors and the children and family members who care for them.
Senior Vice President Matt Anderson CFP®, CPWA®, CLU® was named to the insurance planning category for the second year in a row. Anderson leads the team’s risk management services, which includes estate planning, insurance, long term care and annuities.
