Seventh Annual "RED Day" Set to Lend a Hand in VISTA, CA

Associates with KELLER WILLIAMS CARMEL VALLEY / DEL MAR have chosen to “Give Where They Live” as part of RED Day, the company's annual day of service, dedicated to renewing, energizing, and donating to their local communities.
On Thursday, May 14, Keller Williams Realty Carmel Valley/Del Mar will transform an empty house into an inspiring place for teens and preteens to learn how to play musical instruments. Solutions for Change will be getting the new music room for their in-resident families thanks to Keller Williams Realty Carmel Valley/Del Mar who is focusing their 2015 RED Day efforts on this family oriented non –profit organization.
Introduced in 2009, RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is Keller Williams Realty's annual day of service. Each year on the second Thursday of May, associates spend the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities.
Solutions for Change is the only full service leadership development residential program for the homeless in the country. Through their Solutions University program they equip parents with the skills, knowledge and resources to completely transform themselves and their families in a 1,000 day college like experience. Solutions for Change breaks the pattern of homelessness and poverty for future generations of families. Families entering the program gain stable homes where children can focus on their education without the worries of homelessness. The goal is for the children of families at Solutions for Change finish high school, go on to college and learn the value of hard work and determination. “We are really excited that Keller Williams has stepped up to do so much,” said Juanita Benedicto, Development Associate, at Solutions for Change.
