SGS International Adds to Executive Leadership Team
Louisville, Ky. (PRWEB) September 03, 2015 -- SGS International (SGS), a global leader in package production and expanded marketing services, announced recent additions to the company’s executive leadership team.
Rob McCarthy joins the company as its new chief marketing officer (CMO). In his new position as CMO, McCarthy is responsible for all of SGS’ global marketing and communication activities and will play a key role leading and delivering the expanded suite of integrated marketing solutions SGS offers its customers.
For the past 11 months, McCarthy was a partner at Liquid Assets Consulting & Capital, a venture capital and consulting firm based in St. Louis. Prior to his tenure at Liquid Assets, McCarthy spent 18 years at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he held a variety of positions, most recently as vice president of the Bud Light and Budweiser brands.
Mark Chaffin joins SGS International as the company’s chief information officer (CIO). In his new position as CIO, Chaffin is responsible for all of SGS’ corporate technology infrastructure as well as technology research and development.
Chaffin most recently served as CIO for Acosta Sales & Marketing, where he spent the past seven years leading the company’s rapidly growing technology department.
Lorrie Owen-Turner will serve as the company’s executive vice president of sales for North America. In his new position, Owen-Turner is responsible for leading all SGS sales and client service delivery in Canada and the U.S.
Owen-Turner joins SGS from New Balance USA, where he was general manager of the company’s Warrior Hockey brand.
