Shady Grove Fertility Supports the Infertility Community and Sponsors RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association’s 2017 D.C. Walk of Hope
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) October 03, 2017 -- Shady Grove Fertility is a Visionary Partner of RESOLVE’s 2017 D.C. Walk of Hope to raise awareness and funding for the infertility community. The Walk of Hope, which occurs in cities across the nation from Los Angeles to Chicago to Washington, D.C., is RESOLVE’s signature fundraising event.
The 2017 D.C. Walk of Hope will take place on Saturday, October 14, at 10 a.m. at the National Harbor, MD. Shady Grove Fertility physicians, staff, and current and former patients will walk together at this event. The one mile walk symbolizes the infertility journey—a series of small steps, each one filled with hope and a reminder that no one with infertility should walk alone.

This year, walkers are encouraged to “rock your socks.” Many infertility patients have special socks that they wear for transfers, procedures, and appointments. Attendees should wear their favorite socks. Prizes will be given for the most creative socks.
Through partnerships and memberships Shady Grove Fertility has raised and donated more than $200,000 to support RESOLVE’s mission. RESOLVE uses money raised to fund programming, host support groups, create educational content, and orchestrate awareness initiatives to ensure that family building options are available to everyone.
Shady Grove Fertility and RESOLVE collaborate year round to advance legislation that favors family building for everyone as well as support one another’s education campaigns to promote social awareness.
