Shady Grove Fertility to Host Webcasts and Seminars to Educate and Inform Prospective Fertility Patients
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- Shady Grove Fertility has always endeavored to provide prospective patients with an in-depth fertility education before undergoing treatment. In an effort to extend this education to the community on a larger scale, Shady Grove Fertility physicians and staff participate in an ongoing learning series. As part of this series, free seminars and webcasts have been made available throughout the year in practice locations in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania.
Before the end of 2014, the Shady Grove Fertility offices in Towson, Maryland and Fair Oaks, Virginia will be offering free Fertility Options seminars. All eligible attendees will receive a free new patient consultation if they have attended this event. At these seminars, physicians will present on the common causes of infertility, treatment options and success rates, what a patient can expect at their first appointment, and Shady Grove Fertility’s financial options. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a question and answer panel with physicians at the end of the presentations. Ricardo Yazigi, M.D. will present at the Towson seminar on Wednesday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. Stephen Greenhouse, M.D. will present at the Fair Oaks seminar on Thursday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to these seminars, Shady Grove Fertility will also be offering a Getting Started webcast for prospective or new patients. Jeanne O’Brien, M.D. of Shady Grove Fertility’s Rockville office will review what patients can expect during their first appointment: their fertility evaluation, the practice’s stepped care approach to treatment, and the unique financial programs that are available to patients. This webcast will occur on Tuesday, November 18 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
Shady Grove Fertility will also host a November webcast on Donor Egg Treatment. Isaac Sasson, M.D., Ph.D. of the Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania and Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania locations, will discuss the Donor Egg Program at Shady Grove Fertility. This program, the largest in the United States, has successfully matched over 3,000 couples with a qualified egg donor since its inception. Dr. Sasson will provide an in-depth view of the program, as well as information on the Shared Donor Egg financial program. This webcast will occur on Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. EST.
