YONKERS, N.Y. (PRWEB) January 13, 2016 -- Cross County Shopping Center is proud to announce they will be home to Westchester County’s first Shake Shack location in late 2016. The popular NYC-based restaurant will open in a new retail space, north of AX Armani Exchange, facing the Cross County Parkway.
Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its all-natural burgers, flat-top dogs, frozen custard, beer, wine and more. A fun and lively community-gathering spot with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult following in New York City and around the world.
“The opening of Shake Shack comes as the culmination of a series of several new fashion retailers and eateries to open at the shopping center within the last year,” said Claude Chandonnet, president & CEO of Marx Realty and executive vice president of Brooks Shopping Centers, LLC, the center’s owner. Shake Shack will join other new retailers including Michael Kors, Skechers, Sunglass Hut, Noodles & Company and Burrata Pizza. “We will continue to answer the needs of our shoppers by bringing in fresh, popular brands that appeal to a broad range of tastes.”
The sit-down restaurant will occupy 2,397 square feet and will include an expansive outdoor patio with customer seating.
“This is an exciting time for Cross County Shopping Center,” said James Stifel, CIO of Benenson Capital Partners, LLC and executive vice president of Brooks Shopping Centers, LLC, the center’s owner. “Shake Shack will be a tremendous draw for customers coming from both Westchester and The Bronx.
