Share Your Best In-Game Moments on Pwnit.com to Win Prizes
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 23, 2013 -- Pwnit!. Inc., a Los Angeles-based startup, released early results today around the launch of http://www.pwnit.com, the unique new video-sharing website designed specifically to share video clips of best in-game moments.
Anyone can create a profile on the website and upload their clips to share with friends and other Pwnit! users. These clips can also be entered into weekly tournaments (called “Ladders”) where videos go head-to-head against each other for votes to win prizes. Ladders to date have focused on Call of Duty, Dead or Alive 5, racing titles, sports titles and popular PC games including StarCraft, Minecraft and League of Legends.
“We’ve got some great Ladders running and look forward to adding more over the coming weeks,” said Pwnit!, Inc. Founder Shane Vorster. “Ladders engage and reward both new and existing fans in a new and innovative way.”
“We’ve enjoyed great feedback and support from video game communities, who are the reason why we created the Pwnit! platform,” said Co-Founder John O’Connell. “Alongside Tecmo Koei and Team NINJA, fan sites such as FreeStepDodge.com and DOAWorld.com have helped inspire Ladder objectives. With the new Xbox One and PS4 making it easier than ever to share gaming clips, we’re looking forward to growing our audience rapidly over the coming months.”
During its closed beta, Pwnit.com has attracted thousands of visitors and awarded prizing to more than 30 winners across 10 Ladders, including DLC for Dead Or Alive, games, gift cards for Amazon.com and much more. Pwnit.com is currently giving a free sweepstakes entry for a chance to win a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One console to everyone who uploads a video on any Ladder.

About Pwnit!
Pwnit! is an LA-based startup with a single mission – to create the number one online destination for rewarding amazing gaming moments. They have created a unique video-sharing social platform at http://www.pwnit.com where gamers create profiles and upload their best videogame clips, which can be shared with friends across other social networks and also entered into weekly themed tournaments, or Ladders. Pwnit! users vote for their favorite clips, with the most popular videos winning prizes.
Game developers, publishers, or partners can create and sponsor unique challenges to promote their games and services. Pages can be customized to match the look and feel of games and brands. Ladder challenges and prizing are open to creative imagination - a publisher could ask gamers to upload their best commentary for a multiplayer game for example, or an indie developer could offer game codes for creative fan-made videos.
