Sharon Kleyne Says Water Infrastructure Defeats Dry Eye, Creates Jobs
Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) January 23, 2017 -- Sharon Kleyne, America’s leading water researcher, advocate and feared enemy of dry eye disease, took to the air to educate listeners about the benefits of making new water infrastructure a number one priority. “As we usher in a new national administration in the U.S.,” Kleyne said, “it’s appropriate that we expect water infrastructure to become a top priority of our new political change agents.” Kleyne pointed out that water infrastructure has not been as front-and-center as it should be in the nation’s agenda. “As a result,” Kleyne said, “we’ve seen dry eye disease vault to epidemic proportions in this country and around the world. There are now more than 250 million cases of dry eye disease in China every year,” said Kleyne, “and more than 30 million annual cases in the U.S. We need new water infrastructure to bring these numbers way down.”
Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice America, turned to the words of Thomas W. Sigmund, PE, Executive Director of New Water, to explain to her listeners how investing in water infrastructure benefits health and the economy. According to Sigmund, “The return on investment in clean water is impressive: employment opportunities in family supporting jobs, enhanced productivity in the private economy, higher standards of living, and a more favorable trade balance.”
Sharon Kleyne also cited findings from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis. According to the Bureau, “for every job serving the clean water industry, 3.68 jobs are created to support it. For every $1 billion invested in wastewater infrastructure, $2.6 to $3.5 billion of demand is created for labor, goods and services, much of it locally sourced.”
“In other words,” Sharon Kleyne said, “investing in new water technology and new water infrastructure will create jobs, generate investor profit, support local farming and business and improve health by reducing incidents of serious illness such as dry eye disease.” Kleyne reminded her listeners that dry eye disease now costs a billion dollars a year in the U.S.exceeds all other diseases that ophthalmologists and optometrists diagnose and treat each year. The numbers continue to spiral out of control with aging populations. Kleyne reminded her radio audience that dry eye disease symptoms include blurred vision, redness, burning, itching, stinging, a gritty sensation and watery eyes. These symptoms are triggered by a number of causes including pollution, allergies, post-menopausal changes, windy conditions, computer use, reading, television viewing and artificial environments (air conditioning, central heating).
Sharon Kleyne has been educating people for years about the dangers and supplementation of dry eye disease, the current global water crisis and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s and the body’s water vapor. As she loves to do, Kleyne encouraged people to experience a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle and visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information. Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, which Kleyne founded more than two decades ago, remains committed to new water research and technology that supplements and replenishes earth’s and the body’s water vapor. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, for example, is applied with a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% Trade Secret tissue culture grade water in a patented micron mist. It is the only product on the international market, Kleyne points out, that supplements the eye’s tear film, which is 99 percent water. Kleyne also said that it is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide. The product was successfully test-marketed in more than 70,000 outlets.
“With Natures Tears® EyeMist®,” Sharon Kleyne said, “tired and irritated eyes are supplemented with pure water, and that’s what eyes challenged by dry eye symptoms need. Eye drops may provide some temporary chemical relief,” Kleyne continued, “but they can become addictive and even make the dry eye condition worse. Why?” Kleyne asked her audience. “Because eye drops only trap moisture on the eye’s tear lens; they do not supplement the tear lens. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® does supplement the tear lens.”
Sharon Kleyne enjoys an international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of earth’s fresh water and dehydration of the eyes and skin as a result of the excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne said, “we begin to evaporate, or dry out, a process that continues until we die. In order to sustain excellent health and prolong life,” Kleyne continued, “one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis. This must be done to replenish the evaporating water vapor.” Kleyne has also been a strong advocate for making water infrastructure our top national and international priority, and she will continue, she promises, to advocate for new water research and new water technology.
